ABOUT BRAZILIAN CLASSICAL SERIES

The Brazilian Classical Series’ (BCS) mission is to celebrate Brazil’s symphonic culture and to foster the future of Brazil’s classical music. BCS will be donating a major part of its proceeds to a youth orchestra project called NEOJIBÁ in the State of Bahia, where social integration through orchestral practice enables children and young adults to learn responsibility, team work, discipline and respect through music education, whose methodology is based on the famous “El Sistema” program of Venezuela. The proceeds will be directed to The Bank of Musical Instruments of the Inter-American Culture and Development Foundation, which will acquire musical instruments and deliver them to NEOJIBÁ in Brazil, in support of the program’s ongoing expansion.
